Privacy policy

Orderly Move builds a dated moving checklist from a few answers about your move and sells it as a download. This page explains what we collect to do that, who handles it, and how long we keep it.

What we collect

  • Your answers: moving date, country, whether you rent or own now and next, how far you are moving, how many adults and children, pets, how your things will travel, and the size of your home. We do not ask for your name or address on the form.
  • At checkout: Stripe collects your email address, billing address and payment details on its own secure page. We receive your email address and the order totals. We never see or store card numbers.
  • Your order: what you bought, when, the amount and tax, and a reference to the Stripe payment.

What we use it for

  • To build your checklist, its PDF, and any add-ons you buy.
  • To email you the download links after payment.
  • To send weekly reminder emails, only if you buy that add-on. Every reminder has an unsubscribe link that stops them at once.
  • To calculate the correct sales tax or VAT and keep the records tax law requires.

We do not sell your details or use them for advertising.

Who handles it

  • Stripe processes payments, calculates tax and sends receipts. Its checkout page is covered by Stripe's own privacy policy.
  • Microsoft Azure hosts the site and database and sends our email.

Cookies

The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Your draft answers are kept in your own browser until you close the tab, so you can go back a step without retyping.

How long we keep it

  • Your answers and email address are deleted 90 days after your moving date.
  • Download links work for 30 days after purchase.
  • A minimal record of the order and payment is kept for as long as tax law requires, without your answers.
  • If you never complete a purchase, the answers you entered are deleted within a few days.

There are no accounts, so there is nothing to log in to or delete yourself. To have your details removed sooner, contact us with the email address you used at checkout.
